ESHAAN has shared his new sophomore single, ‘Simulation’

ESHAAN has unveiled Simulation, the second-ever single to be released by the Sydney/Eora-based musician.

Simulation sees ESHAAN sonically accelerate beyond his debut track, Back To The Future, amping up the energy and pace for an atmospheric electro-pop banger. On Simulation, ESHAAN sings of the concept of destiny, pairing his signature pensive lyricism with synth glitches and a catchy hook: “I’ve been played a hundred times,” ESHAAN sings on Simulation’s first verse, “I’m in a cycle.

Speaking of the track, ESHAAN said Simulation illustrates [life’s] endless possibilities, and though those routes have an end, it’s often just the beginning of something new… this song questions the control we have over these journeys, bringing fate and the idea of a higher spiritual power to the forefront.” Listen to Simulation below.

Simulation marks ESHAAN’s sophomore single, following on from the release of his debut track, Back To The Future in June. It’s expected that both songs will form part of ESHAAN’s broader concept project, which the singer will begin to roll out in 2023. The success of Back To The Future earned ESHAAN a mainstage slot at the Fair Day of Sydney’s Mardi Gras event earlier this year, where he shared the spotlight with a slew of fellow LBGTQIA+ artists.

Elsewhere, ESHAAN more recently performed as part of Live Nation’s Ones To Watch, a showcase that has previously hosted fellow upstart musicians, Teenage Joans and Hoodzy, among others. Speaking of the broader project which will include Simulation, ESHAAN teases to Ones To Watch that he wants “to make it one big art show… an immersive atmosphere, compared to [people] just walking into an audience.”
