Noo Zulland’s Sherpa are winning our hearts with their technicolour explosions of sound. Here, we offer up one of their unreleased little ditties, Falling Asleep.

After just releasing their album Blues & Oranges, they were left with a collection of songs that they loved but had to cut from the final production. Its super sad to see these labours of love go unnoticed, which is exactly why we are so stoked to bring you one of them, a track entitled Falling Asleep.

Earl Ho, Sherpa’s frontman, is in London right now. Between calls at his stint selling insurance at a call centre (we have all been there, and its bad) he bought a one-way ticket. Fingers crossed that their unique brand of pop (the kind that appeals to those who refuse to admit they like pop music) translates to the UK market, ‘cos these guys have bucketloads of talent.

Falling Asleep is dreamy, relaxed and slightly non-linear – everything you’d want from a track designed to send you delving deep into your subconscious. It could also soundtrack Lisa’s trip after drinking from the suspicious looking water at Duff Gardens. Don’t just take my word for it, listen for yourselves. All Hail The Lizard Queen.

You can download Falling Asleep for free (just like all Happy’s exclusive tracks) via our Soundcloud page.

Pleasure doing business with you, Sherpa.
