Find love watching the music you love with Tinder’s new ‘Festival Mode’

Tinder has just introduced a Festival Mode which allows festival goers to meet up with each other via their smartphones.

Users are invited to match with the Festival Match card which will put a unique badge onto their profiles. This will allow individuals to view and chat with others who will be attending the same events. Some of the options on the app include Governors Ball, Firefly, EDC and Parklife.

Tinder’s Festival Mode feature enables users to select from 12 UK and US festivals in order to find matches who are planning to attend the same events.

Tinder had previously noted that during festival seasons, downloads of the app increase rapidly, with app activity increasing up to 300 times more than normal during Bonnaroo Festival in the US last year. This explains why the creation of the new feature on the app was so highly demanded.

The Festival Mode is currently available for users in the UK and US. While the feature is not available in Australia, hopefully we can expect it soon due to the app’s affiliations with Live Nation.
