In celebration of our upcoming Live from Happy Vol. 1 release, we’re taking a look back at one of our favourite Happy Sessions: Alex Lahey performing Perth Traumatic Stress Disorder.
We’d been loving Alex Lahey for a while before she came into the Enmore studios to perform live, there’s something about her charming and unique sound that dazzled us since we first had the pleasure of hearing her music. After releasing her smash debut album, I Love You Like A Brother, the artist was firing on all fronts with no signs of slowing down.
Back in 2019, we invited her into Enmore Audio to show off one of the singles from the album, and boy, was it an amazing performance.
Perth Traumatic Stress Disorder is the third track on Alex Lahey’s 2018 debut album I Love You Like A Brother. It’s warm and approachable, with the usual raw emotional honesty and bullshit-free lyricism that we’ve come to know and love.
