Good news Foo Fighters fans! They have dropped their brand new, free EP Saint Cecilia

The release of the EP comes with a letter from frontman Dave Grohl, where he dedicates the EP to the victims of the recent attacks in Paris, saying “To all who were affected by the atrocities in Paris, loved ones and friends, our hearts go out to you and your families. We will return and celebrate life and love with you once again someday with our music. As it should be done.”

The letter continues for several pages, and gets quite deep, but gives a play by play insight into the touring world of the Foo Fighters. You can check out the full letter here.

The EP, according to iTunes “Captures nearly forgotten moments from the band’s 20-year odyssey, a brilliant patchwork of pieced-together riffs and song fragments that were tracked in an impromptu studio at Austin’s Hotel Saint Cecilia.”

The five-track offering is now available for streaming and free downloading from the band’s website, and you can check out one of the new tracks, Saviour Breath, below.
