Goros are making Thursday the new Friday with Enerugi DJ nights

Surry Hills Japanese Bar Goros are teeing up six Thursdays of no-holds-barred dancefloor action, featuring DJs and Red Bull cocktails.

Sydneysiders, I have a question. Since lockdown has ceased and dancefloors have reopened, have you and your crew been craving a hot destination to let loose?

If you’re seeking some late-night action, don’t sleep on Goros. The well-loved Japanese Bar from Surry Hills is putting on some red hot Thursday dance nights with enough entertainment to keep you there well into the AM. Here’s what’s going down.

What’s ENERUGI?

Goros are dubbing these Thursday nights エネルギー, pronounced Enerugi. The term means ‘energy’, and funnily enough, that’s exactly what they’re providing. For starters, the bar will be serving up Red Bull cocktails, alongside beautiful Japanese food and authentic $15 ramen for all you college kids.

Once you’ve got some gas in the tank, here’s what’s happening on the floor.

Beginning on November 18th (this week) and finishing up December 23, a notable DJ will be taking the decks to turn the good-old-fashioned dancefloor into a fevered sweat. Remember dancing? Yeah, it’s back.

Kicking off the Enerugi nights is Australia’s number one urban DJ, Nino Brown, supported by Nicole Tania.

If dancing isn’t your jam, there’ll also be plenty of arcade action, sake, whisky, video games, and if you’re lucky, some of Goros’s iconic karaoke.

Entry and location

How much is entry going to cost? Don’t sweat – entry is entirely free. The venue is located at 84-86 Mary Street, Surry Hills.

Obviously, this is going to be a packed event, so to book a spot, head here.
