Join us on Thursday February 27th for Sticker Pole, an exhibition by Charlie Hardy.
Charlie Hardy is a Sydney-based photographer who has worked alongside a score of Australia’s biggest musicians, festivals, brands, and magazines. He’s become a go-to lens for Splendour in the Grass, The Preatures, The Jungle Giants, and Falls Festival, to name a few.
Join us at Sticker Pole: a photographic exhibition and book fundraiser by Sydney-based photographer Charlie Hardy.
Hardy has also worked regularly with Happy Mag over the past year. You may recognise his shots adorning interviews with Ocean Alley or Dune Rats, or his front-cover photo of Amyl & The Sniffers for Happy Mag Issue 12.
Sticker Pole sees Hardy take his talents to the streets of Sydney’s Inner West, capturing the treasure trove of markings dotting each alleyway, road sign, or scrappy billboard. From the peeling logos of bands come and gone to pieces of now-iconic graffiti, Sticker Pole attempts to document the menagerie of diverse art blanketing Sydney’s weirdo wasteland.
The exhibition marks a fundraiser show for Hardy’s upcoming photo book of the same name. Prints will be available for sale on the night.
