Local boys The Southern River Band are blistering straight outta Thornlie and straight into the ears of Perth punters for a special show next month.
Recently nominated as Most Popular Live Act at the West Australian Music Awards, you know these fella can push out a gig of the highest caliber. There’ll be booze, tunes, sweat, maybe a little blood. You know, a good time.
The Southern River Band don’t want to be pinned down to a genre, they just want to thrash out live tunes. Don’t miss this red-hot live ensemble launch their album in a month’s time.
The date is November 19, and the venue is Jack Rabbit Slim’s. Want to know why you should go? Just ask lead singer Jase:
“I say, do you like being happy? They’ll say yes obviously, then I say look, if you want happiness, it’s November 19th at Slim’s on Saturday night.”
Happy takes this opportunity to endorse happiness along with Jase – on ya.
The Souther River Band will be joined by fellow Perth rockers Old Blood and Marmalade Mama. Combined, these acts should produce enough voltage to throw out a couple of suburbs, so make sure you get on in before the lights go out.
All the info you need is on the Facebook event. Tickets here.
