Yours and Owls have announced their first High School Band Competition, and it’s not one to be missed out on. The winner will be selected to play at the Yours and Owls All Ages Music and Arts Festival at Wollongong’s Stuart Park on October 4, alongside acts like The Delta Riggs, The Rubens and Gang of Youths.
Entrants will need to submit a short video of their original work, it can either be a video clip or recording of the band playing live. The five entries that receive the most votes will be selected to play in the live round of finals, held at the University of Wollongong, where the winner will be picked by a panel of judges. Courtesy of Blender Festival and IMB, there will also be cash prizes and ticket give-aways up for grabs. Entires close September 16, and you can enter here.
