Ireland seems to have an unfair advantage when it comes to producing singer/songwriters.
Something in the water, or the Guinness, is trickling into the veins of Irish artists and creating serious talent. Gavin James is the latest – and although his musical career doesn’t stretch too far back, it’s one to brag about.
Following his release of debut album Bitter Pill last November James has played show after show, his audience seemingly growing with each. The record has gone platinum in Ireland, and James has performed with the likes of Sam Smith and Ed Sheeran. Today, he announces an Australian tour with his name on it.
Ireland is spoilt for amazing singers, and Gavin James is raising the bar with his emotional, lyrical folk ballads and stunning live shows
James’ live act is obviously grabbing attention everywhere. The strength of the artists he has supported speaks for his own talents onstage. Additionally he has repeatedly appeared live for Jimmy Kimmel and James Cordon’s talk shows.
So if you’re in for an intimate, introspective show with Ireland’s latest and greatest lyrical song-spinner, grab a ticket and pack your tissues. You’re like to be ankle deep in tears before the night is through.
