J-MILLA, has just delivered the fresh new single ‘Gammon’ a kickoff to a lineup of hot tracks set to blaze through 2023. “I just threw this song together, had some fun with it because I love the word, have used it all my life and I wanted to pay homage to it. It’s a funny thing this song, comes off as ‘arrogant’ but it’s not because “I’m Gammon”. Gammon means ’not true/tongue in cheek vibes. The interesting thing was that I wasn’t sure if it was spelt as Gammin or Gammon – is it “in or is it on” I put it to poll on my gram and it came back as Gammon – it’s an “on”. The split was 47% for Gammin and 53% for Gammon. “ J-MILLA

To coincide with the release, J-MILLA has shone a light on the big 5 first nations artists to listen to right now.

Yung Milla

Yung Milla should definitely be on your radar whether you are in the music industry or not, Yung Milla’s flow and melody is amazing and he is next up.

Lil Mase

Lil Mase has a very unique voice and he is extremely versatile for the music industry in Australia, especially within the indigenous community. His song ‘Shine Like the Sunshine’ is one of the best songs to come out of Australia.

Inkabee

Inkabee is the youngest in the game right now straight killing it! His flow and delivery are insane for someone at his age. Can’t wait to see where his journey goes, he is guided by his father Flewnt who is also one of the best rappers in Aus. Love listening to both of them collaborate. Excited to share the stage with these mob in Perth for the FlewNT Bloc Party on 24th Feb 2024!

Say True God?

This brother is straight-up deadly! His lyrics are unique and I know when he drops a song, it’s time to crank it through the speakers. I love what he stands for as a person!

DOBBY

Dobby I love his flow, energy, and lyrics and should definitely be someone we are all looking at as he is on of the most talented including his amazing drum skills – they are fire!!!!
