Indie angels Phoebe Bridgers and Courtney Barnett teamed up to sing a cover for Newport Folk Festival’s virtual weekend. Their rendition of Gillian Welch’s Everything Is Free is the most gorgeous thing you’ll hear today. Despite Barnett being in Melbourne and Bridgers in LA, their voices gel together seamlessly for a euphoric listening experience, with Barnett’s soulful Telecaster accompaniment more than sufficient.
