A ton of Beatles memorabilia is going up for sale through Heritage Auctions this month, including a one-of-a-kind copy of Yesterday And Today owned by John Lennon.
It’s a perfect storm for the rare Beatles collector; not only is it Lennon’s personal copy, it also features an illustration from the frontman on the unique, blank back cover, the ‘butcher cover’ on the front (which was banned after two days of sale), plus it’s one of the only stereo copies.
The current bid is sitting pretty at $100,000.
How much do you reckon this bad boy will go for? An LP personally owned by John Lennon is up for sale alongside a ton of Beatles memorabilia.
Also included in the auction is a jacket and pants combo worn by George Harrison and Ringo Starr during their 1965 tour (starting bid $50,000), a 1963 With The Beatles signed LP (available for $42,250), a copy of Please Please Me signed by all Fab Four (starting bid $10,000), and another copy of the ‘butcher cover’ Yesterday And Today (available for $10,250).
So I hope you’ve been saving up, because this is the Beatles motherlode.
