Kali Audio joins Happy for BIGSOUND 2026

Kali Audio is helping us out across three days of BIGSOUND artist interviews

Come September, Fortitude Valley will once again be full of bands, industry people, ringing ears and conversations happening over several other conversations.

So, good headphones are going to matter.

Kali Audio is teaming up with Happy for BIGSOUND 2026, supplying the headphones we’ll be using throughout our Happy Interview series at Berwick House.

Across the three days, we’ll be sitting down with showcasing artists, industry figures and a few familiar faces moving through the festival, with Kali’s HP-1 headphones helping us hear what’s happening in the room.

The Burbank, California company launched in 2018 and has since built a serious reputation for its Lone Pine studio monitors, building studio monitors around accurate reference listening without pushing into the upper end of studio pricing.

The HP-1, or Highland Park, applies the same idea to Kali’s first headphones.

They’re closed-back, come with Bluetooth and active noise cancelling, offer around 40 hours of battery life and have three listening modes, including a flat Studio setting.

It is the sort of gear that makes sense for Happy. Between the studio, the Mag and the steady stream of artists coming through our doors, we spend a lot of time listening.

And at BIGSOUND, that can be easier said than done.

Keep an eye on Happy for our interviews and coverage as September gets closer. Kali Audio will be helping us hear it all.
