Like so many others, Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio were kept apart due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
It has been almost three years since the Titanic stars, Kate Winslet and Leonardo Dicaprio had hung out and they were finally reunited in Los Angeles.
Apparently, they got pretty emotional and who could blame them? We can’t look at the pair without hearing Celine Dion and tearing up.
“I couldn’t stop crying,” Winslet told the Guardian.
“I’ve known him for half my life! It’s not as if I’ve found myself in New York or he’s been in London and there’s been a chance to have dinner or grab a coffee and a catchup. We haven’t been able to leave our countries. Like so many friendships globally, we’ve missed each other because of Covid.”
It goes without saying that the two first starred together in the 1997 film Titanic and they have been friends ever since.
Kate had been walking around, trying to do an errand out of all this busy time she was having. She glanced around, keeping an eye on her surroundings, just in case, as she spotted Leo. She smirked and ran over.

“He’s my friend, my really close friend,” Winslet said. “We’re bonded for life.”
It was a sweet moment to see and one that is so relatable right now as loved ones all over the world are dying to be reunited.
