Immediately, Callaghan established his penchant for crafting immersive indie synth-pop tunes that’ll seep deep into your bones and make you groove. Now, the artist has shared his new single The Only One… and once again he’s delivered the goods.
The Only One, the shimmering and woozy new single from Brisbane artist Keelan Callaghan, will spin around your head and leave you feeling completely hypnotised.
On the new track, Callaghan navigates a shimmering meld of psych, indie-rock, and pop to craft a sound that belongs entirely to himself.
The Only One feels simultaneously bright, vibrant, and woozy – a strange concoction of sounds that’ll leave you without concept of space or time. It’s a wonderful feeling of disorientation that you’ll quickly become addicted to.
The song is the latest in a string of consistently great releases from the Brisbane-based artist, and we’re hoping we won’t have to wait long for more.
These are still early days in Keelan Callaghan’s career, but judging by the quality of what we’ve heard so far, I think we can safely expect more quality tunes from this songwriter.
