Atop this warm Summer morning enigmatic three-piece Animal Collective have released the boppy new single FloriDada, the lead single taken from their forthcoming album Painting With.
The album is set for a February 19, 2016, release, and will be the band’s first album since the release of their 2013 full-length Centipede HZ. Of course fans of Noah Lennox have been able to stave off the boredom by indulging in his mind-bending solo project Panda Bear’s album Panda Bear Meets The Grim Reaper.
Painting With will feature three different album covers, each painted by Brian DeGraw. The covers are portraits of Panda Bear, Geologist (Brian Weitz) and Avey Tare (David Portner), respetively and you can check them out below. You can pre-order the album and get a free download of FloriDada here.
