With his album b’lieve i’m goin down… out soon on September 25, Kurt Vile has unveiled the video for his second single Life Like Mine.
Animated and directed by Adam Avilla the clip sees Vile slowly but surely turn into a trippy cartoon version of himself.
Says Avilla the video is “A story about getting at the heart of inspiration and the surreal disjointed journey that the pursuit entails. I feel that artists of all disciplines can relate to such a notion of getting pleasantly (or sometimes unpleasantly) lost in your own thoughts, and from them reap inspiration for our best work“.
