Lily Allen, who has never been one to shy away from taboo topics and has been openly vocal about sex in her lyrics, has revealed that she’s working on her own range of sex toys.
The 34-year-old singer believes the celebrity sex toy market needs to be “capitalised” on, so she’s started developing a device to enhance female bedroom pleasure.
Lily Allen has revealed that she’s working on developing her own line of sex toys, because “orgasms are important, ladies”.
Speaking at the Port Eliot Festival – where she was conceived when it was previously known as Elephant Fayre – in Cornwall, South West England, she told the crowd “I am developing a sex toy. It is a clitoral massager,” adding that she “probably shouldn’t talk about it. I haven’t done a press release or anything like that.”
“Orgasms are important, ladies, and I feel like the celeb sex toy market hasn’t been capitalised upon.”
As well as revealing her sex toy development plans, she also opened up about her stalker and her fears that his release from psychiatric care could be imminent.

“The stalker stuff is quite scary, I think…He got out yesterday for 20 minutes supervised leave and that’s been preying on my mind for the last few days,” she said. “He broke into my house at 2am in October 2015. I thought it was my ex and I was with a new boyfriend. Someone came to my bedroom door and I thought it was my ex but it was someone I didn’t know.”
Allen released her most recent album No Shame in June last year, and is already working on the follow-up album. She also revealed that she’s currently working on a “concept album and two musicals”, and says they’re “really clever”.
