Splendour in the Grass has just dropped their highly-anticipated lineup for this year’s festival, and it’s safe to say that music lovers around the world are buzzing with excitement.
As a collective that watches Maps on the regular, we are beyond stoked with the latest Splendour line up announce. So stoked we have already packed our bags in anticipation to head to Byron Bay, because this year’s Splendour In The Grass line-up is absolutely massive. With Lizzo already announced as the first headliner, the festival has dropped the bombshell of additional headliners and an epic line-up that will have music fans frothing at the mouth.
Kicking things off on Friday, 21 July, Lizzo will make her Splendour debut as the headliner, setting the stage for a weekend of unforgettable music. Festival-exclusive Flume will close the night on Saturday, 22 July, bringing his signature beats to the party, and Mumford And Sons will send everyone off in style on Sunday, 23 July.
But the big names don’t stop there. Pop sensation Lewis Capaldi will be joining the line-up, along with the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, who are returning after pulling out of last year’s festival. Hilltop Hoods, Sam Fender, IDLES, J Balvin, Little Simz, Tove Lo, Slowthai, Noah Cyrus, and Arlo Parks are also set to provide their unique brands of R&B and post-punk, coming all the way from overseas.
And let’s not forget about the homegrown talent. The line-up is stacked with incredible Australian acts, such as King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, Ruel, Pnau, Peach PRC, Tkay Maidza, Dune Rats, Cub Sport, Jack River, Smith Street Band, RVG, and so many more.
