Sounds Australia is a body which provides assistance to Australian artists when it comes time to break into the international market. They run workshops for musicians, overseas industry missions, and they recently became a Global Curator on Apple Music.
Their (fantastic) playlist made for MusicNSW is a hot list of our state’s biggest exports at the moment, including the likes of Gang of Youths, Hockey Dad, Alex The Astronaut, and heaps more. If you’re needing an update on the local musicians slaying it right now, look no further.
MusicNSW put on a variety of events that allow musicians and industry individuals alike to develop their professional skills and get funding, while also giving musicians access to industry professional and vice versa through various networking events.
As part of their birthday celebrations, MusicNSW are also revamping their site, uploading tonnes of new free resources for artists and a new membership system for musicians and industry members alike.
