Louis Theroux is heading down under for an Aussie tour

Documentary filmmaker Louis Theroux has announced that he will be doing a series of live shows in Australia and New Zealand in January 2020.

Hosted by Julia Zemiro, Louis Theroux Without Limits is a two-hour show that will explore the uncovered tales of his famous encounters, as well as a close insight into what he has learned from experiencing bizarre global subcultures. Theroux plans to visit Perth, Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne and Auckland.

Zemiro has previously hosted Theroux on her show Home Delivery, which takes individuals through their past experiences. In that episode, Theroux was taken back to South London, and his time at the renown Westminster school.

Theroux’s 20-year career as a documentarian has immersed him with confronting modern subcultures, including time with wrestlers, radicals, and serial killers. His curious approach to journalism has sparked a global following.

His notable trait is his ability to build relationships and empathise with almost anyone and everyone. This means he can have the difficult discussions, and bring people out of their shells, where normally they are not normally so vulnerable.

Tickets will go on sale on 24 June, but if you don’t want to risk it, we would advise signing up to access the waitlist for the 18 June presale.
