As you may have heard, Mac DeMarco’s mum, Agnes Demarco put up her son’s 1992 740-series Volvo onto Canadian classified website Kijiji because the world completely lost its shit.
Decked out with triple j and triple j Unearthed stickers, the car had 460,000km on the odometer and was listed for only CAD$500 but it’s not actually road worthy…
Mac DeMarco’s mum’s listing of her sons scrappy 1992 740-series Volvo has taken the world by storm. Within 2 days of it being found it has been sold.
The listings description of the iconic car said:
“Needs a new transmission must be towed. upholstery in great shape fifth seat in perfect condition includes good winter tires on the car three extra metal rims for tires, trailer hitch, accessories and a roof rack. Belonged to Indy rocker Mac DeMarco.”
The car seems to be very close to DeMarco’s heart, appearing in two of his music videos Dreamin and Ode To Viceroy. You can watch them both below.
