Members of Queens of The Stone Age, Soundgarden and Pearl Jam have formed a supergroup

Members of seminal rock bands Queens of The Stone Age, Soundgarden and Pearl Jam have come together in an unholy joining of forces, creating one of the biggest rock alliances we have seen since Them Crooked Vultures (I don’t think anyone could ever top that supergroup).

Ten Commandos album

Naming themsleves Ten Commandos, the band features Alain Johannes of QOTSA, Ben Shepard of Soundgarden, Matt Cameron from both Soundgarden and Pearl Jam and Dimitri Coats from OFF!.

As stated on Johannes’ Instagram, their first single, Staring Down The Dust, will drop October 9th via Monkey Wrench Records (founded by members of Pearl Jam). It will also feature Mark Lanagen (Screaming Trees, ex-QOTSA) on vocal duties. The full album is due out in November.
