Absolute queen Mia Khalifa has used her OnlyFans to raise $160,000 for charity

Sharing the news on Instagram, Mia Khalifa has revealed that she donated $160,000 of her OnlyFans earnings to charity.

The former-adult-star-turned-activist joined the platform in September following a fierce battle against PornHub and production company BangBros. In just four months, the star was able to raise a whopping sum of $160,000 from her “SFW [suitable for work]… kinda” content.

“But first I just want to thank everyone who has supported me on OnlyFans since September. You guys have helped me donate over $160k to charities and organisations that mean the most to me,” Khalifa captioned her post.

“I’m so grateful for the platform and all the incredible, strong, determined women I’ve met through the Internet because of it. You guys have taught me so much and helped me grow as a person in more ways than I can ever thank you for,” she added in her post.

Mia Khalifa gained fame in 2014 for her brief stint as an adult film star, with her popularity reaching insane heights in the years following her exit from the industry. Even four years following her departure from the industry, Khalifa was still one of the top-ranked stars on Pornhub (2018).

Despite this, Khalifa admitted in 2016 that she only received around $12,000 during that time and had zero earnings from residuals. Since then, she’s been outspoken about her experiences in the porn industry, slamming it for “predatory practices.”

On her choice to retire from the industry, she said “was an eye-opener for me. I don’t want any of this, whether it’s positive or negative—but all of it was negative.”

Currently, Khalifa is still engaged in a legal battle with BangBros in an effort to remove her videos from Pornhub and to reclaim her domain name.
