MLNIUM drops a huge new remix of BANTA’s ‘Flourish’

Melbourne artist MLNIUM had a huge 2019. He released an epic nine-track album, followed it up with another single, and now, he looks poised to make 2020 even bigger. Following on from the release of September’s Polaris, he has just dropped a new remix of fellow Melbournians BANTA’s Flourish.

With the release of the new remix, the producer continues to establish his penchant for crafting slick and immersive gems of electronic sound. If you’re not already across this artist, we strongly recommend you change that.

On his new remix of BANTA’s Flourish, Melbourne-based producer MLNIUM crafts an epic journey of future bass brilliance.

Throughout the new remix, MLNIUM glides through a spellbinding concoction of ambient electronica and future bass, delivering a complete re-imagining of the original song. There are three elements being intertwined through this new remix; there’s the original track, MLNIUM’s dynamic production, and OLDSOL.EDS’ soaring pop vocals. Mix them all together and you’ve got a hit.

Over the course of the track’s four-minute run-time, the track builds into something infectious, but it still holds a real emotional weight.

“Flourish is a reflective piece dissecting the struggle of identity and purpose of young adults accepting their own character, an introspective journey that takes personal struggles and transforms them into an energizing defiance that supports our individual process of self-discovery,” MLNIUM says of the track.

This is the latest in a string of consistently great releases from this Melbourne artist, and judging by the quality of everything we’ve heard so far, I think we can safely expect plenty more great tunes. In the meantime, do yourself a favour and listen to the new track above.
