Motörhead have announced reissues of their two iconic 1979 albums, Bomber and Overkill, kickstarting an extensive reissue campaign.

Both albums will also come with B-sides and outtakes. The two releases will be available on October 25th.

Classic rock and metal fans will rejoice at this news. Motörhead were a revered band that were heralded in both punk and metal scenes.

If Jack Black‘s character Dewey Finn from School of Rock is anything to go by, Motörhead’s legacy deserves to live on. “Motörhead?! Ah, what do they teach in this place?

Motörhead teamed up with BMG to execute this campaign, a series quoted as, “an exciting, extensive and detailed ultra-fan-friendly release programme.”

With the famous trio all having passed away by 2018, this reissue campaign was initiated with close involvement between the Kilmister, Clarke and Taylor estates.
