It was Martin Garrix’s Animals that first inspired French producer Nakhu to start producing, experimenting with different varieties of electronic music, but ultimately finding the most inspiration in House music.

French producer Nakhu delivers a certified EDM banger that’ll take you straight to the shores of Ibiza with his new single Mirage.
Based in Paris, Nakhu never had a musical background before beginning his producing endeavours. He downloaded FL studio immediately after watching a video of Martin Garrix explaining how he made the track Animals on YouTube, and he “knew producing was what I wanted to do from that moment on.”
Nakhu’s production skills are almost entirely self-taught, from experimenting with different sounds on his computer, and watching the YouTube videos of producers such as Brooks, Jay Hardway, Mike Williams, Mesto, San Holo, and Nicky Romero, just to name a few.
He took his time to learn music production before the release of Mirage as he “didn’t want to put a track out before being confident enough about its quality.” The track is a total EDM banger, it’s buoyant and energetic, sparkling with the glimmer of summer the whole way through.
“For me, the most important part in a track is the melody and that the music you’re listening to moves and makes you feel emotions. I started this track Mirage with the melody and I built the rest around it.”
It may only be early days for this French producer, but he’s confidently introducing himself as an up-and-coming dynamo in the EDM scene, and is sure to be producing more bangers in the near future. In the meantime, check out his new single above.
