NYE in the Park drop 2019 line-up featuring Hermitude, Girl Talk and more

Sydney’s annual New Year’s Eve festival, NYE in the Park, is returning to Camperdown’s Victoria Park this year, and they’re closing off 2019 with an epic line-up of both homegrown and international talent.

With last year’s line-up featuring the likes of The Presets, The Jungle Giants, and Hayden James, it’s difficult to imagine how they could possibly outdo themselves this year, but they’ve gone and they’ve done it.

Looking to have your best New Years ever? NYE in the Park have got you sorted with their absolutely huge 2019 line-up.

Leading this year’s music instalments are homegrown talents Hermitude, Crooked Colours and SAFIA, alongside American mash-up masters Girl Talk. Other incredible local acts that will grace the stage include the likes of Client Liaison, Touch Sensitive, Young Franco and more.

You’ll also be able to throw it back to the late noughties and early 2010s, with tunes from two of Australia’s most beloved duos; Sneaky Sound System and Bag Raiders. There will be even more epic late noughties throwbacks in the reunion set from special guests Van She Tech.

“New Year’s in Sydney has always been overcrowded, overpriced and ultimately, underwhelming, and we want to change that,” organisers have said about the event. “The last two years offered a hugely fun, highly affordable, drama-free night out – with ample space to dance, more bars and toilets than you can poke a stick at.”

All in all, it’s gonna be an absolutely huge day, so if you haven’t sorted your NYE plans yet, get around it. It’s all set to go down at Camperdown’s Victoria Park on the 31st of December. Check out the full line-up and ticketing information below.
