Ocean Alley drop new music video, announce huge Aussie tour

Beloved Aussie reggae-psych group Ocean Alley have announced a national headline tour in May and June this year supported by Psychedelic Porn Crumpets and Dulcie, and fans are getting excited.

This tour will mark the group’s first headline Aussie outing since 2018 after a massive touring and recording year, with 2019 ending with 30 sold-out performances internationally.

Ocean Alley National Tour

It’s been a huge two years for the Northern Beaches band with no slowing down in sight after releasing new music and a brand new video clip.

Ocean Alley started off 2020 with a bang on the national Laneway Festival run, and have just released a music video for one of their latest releases Tombstone to coincide with the tour announcement.

Late last year the band released two other singles, Infinity and Stained Glass which both charted in Triple J’s Hottest 100 of 2019 earlier this year (#24 and #54), providing some insight into the busy year that was.

2019 was a big one for the Northern Beaches-based boys, giving a career-defining Saturday night main stage performance at Splendour in the Grass as well as performing around the country at Bluesfest, Spilt Milk and the sold-out A Day for the Beaches charity event curated by the band itself.

The six-piece will kick off the tour at Fremantle Art Centre in Perth on Friday 1 May, making their way through Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane and wrapping up with a huge hometown show in Sydney on Friday 5 June at Hordern Pavilion.
