Paper House announce a massive launch party to celebrate the release of their debut record A Certain Kind of Now

Last week, Melbourne genre-blenders Paper House dropped their first full-length release, A Certain Kind of Now, and to celebrate they have announced a massive launch party this November at the Grace Darling.

Melbourne’s Paper House are throwing a huge launch party at the Grace Darling to celebrate the release of their first full-length record, A Certain Kind of Now.

Mixed and recorded at Tender Trap studio in Melbourne by the band’s own guitarist Alister McLean, A Certain Kind of Now sees Paper House at their absolute best. Their latest single, Sweet Release, is a dreamy, piece of baroque pop; an eclectic and intriguing precursor for a fantastic record.

Paper House are revered for putting on an alluring live show, often collaborating with a range of musicians, set designers and filmmakers to create and immersive experience for their audiences. We can’t wait to see what they have in store for their album launch.

You can catch Paper House at the Grace Darling in Melbourne on Saturday the 19th of November alongside Georgia Fields and Tulalah with visuals by Freya Pitt. Doors are at 8pm.

If you can’t wait that long, the band are also playling Thursday 13th October at the Neighbourhood Night at the Museum, The Ian Potter Museum of Art, 6pm – 9pm.
