Pearl Jam’s Mike McCready and Stone Gossard, Jared Leto, Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda, and a stack of others have joined I’m Listening; a new campaign aimed at suicide prevention and mental health awareness.

For the campaign, the artists will be performing as part of a two-hour special on September 9th on Entercom and Radio.com.

A huge list of artists including Pearl Jam, Jared Leto, Mike Shinoda, and Alessia Cara have joined a new campaign aimed at suicide prevention and mental health awareness.

In most parts of the world, suicide claims more lives than war, murder and natural disasters combined,” Shinoda said in a statement.

The special will launch Suicide Prevention week, which will also feature various other on-air and online promotional material.

Also partaking in the campaign will be Stephan Jenkins of Third Eye Blind, Alessia Cara, Bebe Rexha, Charlie Puth, and others.

Anyone affected by mental health issues or in need of help can reach Lifeline on 13 11 14.
