Check out Big Wheels’ addictive new single ‘Colourblind’

Sydney’s soft-rock sweethearts Big Wheels have shared their new single Colourblind with us ahead of its release this week.

Colourblind is the latest single from Big Wheels, drawing influence from the rock & roll revolution of the ’70s both in its sound and its Fleetwood Mac-esque lyricism and themes.

The inimitable songwriting bond between the band’s co-captains Cass Ford and Lawson Doyle showcases their merging and contrasting views on love, self, existence and individuality. With a cosmic mixture of classic rock & roll, blues, and country, they draw influence from the likes of Fleetwood Mac, Oasis, Neil Young, and Jefferson Airplane.

The Sydney-based four-piece are no strangers to Australia’s music scene, with two singles, Chain of Fire and All I Ever Wanna Do, and live slots supporting indie heavy hitters like San Cisco and Pacific Avenue already under their belt.

Due for release this Thursday, Colourblind is a bold and honest track about learning to let go of the need for a loved one’s approval and acceptance, with Cass Ford’s powerful and distinctive voice leading the charge.
