Throughout the new single, Littlefoot stomp through a concoction of punk and grunge to deliver a hard-hitting, fuzzy sound that belongs entirely to themselves. From start to finish, Big Dirty is an all-out assault of filthy rock noises.
From the moment they kick things off with the line “Everyone I know’s an asshole,” this song is a sprint to the finish. You can either keep up, or fuck right off.
Big Dirty is the first taste of Littlefoot’s upcoming full-length album, which is set to be released early next year. Judging by this first single, I think we can safely expect more quality tunes from this Melbourne band.
