PREMIERE: Port Royal smash it out of the ballpark in their new clip Pinch-Hit

Already with a big following, Brisbane band Port Royal are back with a new clip for their recently released single Pinch-Hit.

Opening with a clip of muppet mania is enough to sell me and from there, the clip is a winner. The boys dance in their quirky and energetic way across the screen, guitars and hair are everywhere, Port Royal giving us all they have.

Capitalising on that home grown, mum’s basement energy, Port Royal are fast, classic pop-rock at its peak.

Port Royal

Pinch-Hit is wild and charismatic rock and roll, Port Royal delivering big guitar riffs and crashing drums with the swagger of absolute superstars.

If you haven’t had the opportunity to catch these guys live, then this clip will make you want to buy the first tickets going. With a massive year coming to an end, Port Royal have kicked it on some great stages and festival bills… think Brisbane’s Valley Fiesta alongside The Jungle Giants, Velociraptor and Bleeding Knees Club.

And on their own banging tour, their only night off in Melbourne saw them jump on stage as support for good mates Cherry Dolls.

Pinch-Hit is an instant hit, and visually it sells the band as a stellar group of blokes who you want to be mates with. Even if it’s just to get a few more minutes with that dope muppet character.

Port Royal are hitting stages again in December, set to pack out venues on the Sunshine Coast and Port Macquarie. I’m a big fan of this band and Pinch-Hit is just what I needed to hype myself up for a summer of great music.
