On Remains, the DIY pop artist glides through a unique combination of synthwave and 80’s inspired indie pop to craft a sound that feels simultaneously delicate and dense.
Saint Barae pieces together boundless soundscapes that will draw you in with glittering synth lines and effortlessly polished vocal delivery. It’s both haunting and vibrant; a balance between melancholy and exuberance that few artists can achieve.
Remains is Saint Barae’s first offering since dropping his Barae EP back in 2015… and here’s hoping we don’t have to wait another three years to hear more from this Queensland artist.
While these are still early days in his career, I think we can safely expect more great tunes from Saint Barae judging by the qaulity of what we’ve heard so far.
