PREMIERE: Shearin serve up a heartwarming slice of nostalgia on their new video Clean Up Your Mess

Back in 2016, when we first stumbled across the raw pub-rock sounds of Sydney five-piece Shearin, we immediately fell in love. It’s a no-bullshit style of garage-punk that’s been doused in a healthy dose of sweat and spilt beer.

So today, we’re stoked to be premiering their new video for Clean Up Your Mess; a sun-soaked slice of distinctly Australian nostalgia that you’ll quickly get hooked on.

Prepare to take a trip down memory lane with Shearin’s incredible new video for Clean Up Your Mess; an ode to the simpler days of an Aussie childhood.

On the new single, Shearin reflect on the simpler times of an Aussie childhood; scraping together lunch money, eyeing off the tim tams, and scrambling to clean up the house before your folks got home from work.

The track’s new video is the perfect visual accompaniment. With lead-singer Jeremy Hyland making his directorial debut, the clip follows a group of kids wreaking havoc after school. Motorbikes in the backyard, half-pipes, spray paint… you know, the standard.

Clean Up Your Mess is taken from Shearin’s brand-spanking-new new EP Looney Ave, which you can listen to now. Though in the meanwhile, do yourself a favour and watch the new video above.
