PREMIERE: Born Joy Dead bring you an ass-kicking, dynamic rock and roll experience with new clip Sinkhole Holiday

Good or bad, all thing must come to an end and in the event you’re going through a shitty time, Born Joy Dead have a brand new clip to pull you out of the slumps.

This team of Brisbane based indie-rockers comprised of Ben Dalton, Mitch Clark, Steve Graham and Ben Maher are bursting with energy on their latest track, Sinkhole Holiday. Smothered in catchy vocals, a whirlwind of fuzzed guitar and a garage-rock inspired sound, it’s an ode to staying positive with an immediately rebellious, mosh-pit feel to it.

The brand new clip echoes the sentiment perfectly, inviting you along for a sun-drenched afternoon session complete with cocktails, sparklers, a fiery barbecue and smiles all round.

Sinkhole Holiday takes you on a four minute escape to a land of soaring vocals, guitar driven verses and diverse dips to deliver a message of positive vibes that’ll help you through those crappier times.

Complete with catchy hooks, anthem-like vocals and progressive verses, Sinkhole Holiday identifies as one of those tracks which hooks you on the first listen. Touching on anxiety, stress and doubt as a result of personal experiences, the single and clip aim to resonate with anyone going through a crappy time. There’s always a light at the end of the tunnel.

According to Dalton, “as holidays end, so do shit times” and that’s the message Sinkhole Holiday aims to convey to listeners who may be feeling as lost as ever. With an upbeat chorus amongst the chaotic guitar riffs and Dalton’s soaring vocals, the track makes way for an intoxicating melody coated in a diverse array of dips.

Having previously supported the likes of British India, Ball Park Music and Bad//Dreams, Born Joy Dead are hitting the East Coast for a small run of dates ahead of their upcoming album, Throw Us In The Fire, produced by Sean Cook (Big Scary, Velociraptor) at Plutonium Studios.
