Ball Park Music are a pop-rock band based in Brisbane. The 5-piece outift consists of Sam Cromack (guitar/vocals), Jennifer Boyce (bass/backing vocals), Paul Furness (keys/trombone), and twins Dean Hanson (guitar/backing vocals) and Daniel Hanson (drums/backing vocals).
In 2010 the band were picked up by Triple J after the release of their second EP Conquer the Town, Easy as Cake. The following year Ball Park Music dropped their debut album Happiness and Surrounding Suburbs via Inertia Records featuring hit single It's Nice To Be Alive.
They have since released four studio albums with Stop Start with 2014's Puddinghead and 2016's Every Night The Same Dream peaking at #2 and #3 on the ARIA charts.
Ball Park Music is a picture of consistency. Steadily growing its fanbase and critical acclaim with every record, the band is six full albums deep into a career that appears to go from strength. Good Mood was another success for the quintet, with the single Exactly How You Are placing highly on Triple J's Hottest 100 in 2017.
In late 2020, their self-titled sixth album was released, featuring one of Ball Park Music's most successful singles to date: Cherub (which placed fourth on the Hottest 100, their best result yet).
