Aussie radio broadcaster triple j have polled their listeners to find out who Australia’s favourite live act is. Gang of Youths earned the coveted title.

Gang Of Youths came in at number one, with triple j stating “Gang Of Youths have come out on top by a comfortable margin with their passionate, powerful live show – like the stirring Enmore set we played out on Saturday night.”

Just behind the band was Hilltop Hoods and Flume, followed by their most recent Hottest 100 winner Ocean Alley. The forever amazing Ball Park Music rounded out the top five.

Eight of the ten acts were Aussies, with only The Wombats and Billie Eilish representing international artists.

Dream Festival was a virtual festival that transformed triple j, Double J and Unearthed into three “stages”, with each station playing live sets from some of the best artists they’ve ever recorded live. This included recordings of Tame Impala, Powderfinger, Beastie Boys, Eddy Current Suppression Ring, and heaps more.
