PREMIERE: Tunes Of I navigate cosmic vibes on new video Kiss The Sky

Ok, let’s talk about the new video from Tunes Of I… this thing is an all-out explosion of wonderful weirdness, and honestly, we’re not quite sure what to make of it.

I feel like I’ve just come off a really intense trip, but I’m not complaining. In fact, I can’t wait to do it all again.

Kiss The Sky, the strange and hallucinatory new video from Wellington outfit Tunes Of I, will leave you feeling like you’ve just come off a three-day trip.

On the new video for Kiss The Sky, Tunes Of I (otherwise known as TOI) meld together elements of psych, reggae, roots, and indie-rock to create a sound that feels simultaneously earthy and hypnotic.

Directed and produced by Mark Russell of Renegade Peach Project and Arlo Edwards of Don’t Panic Pictures, the clip follows the band’s rhythm section scouring the galaxy for their kidnapped horn section.

Described by the band as “lo-fi sci-fi,” this video is virtually impossible to look away from.

We just spent an epic two days in the studio working hard to play our parts, having a tonne of laughs in the process,” say the band.

Do yourself a favour and watch the new clip above.
