Prince’s memoir The Beautiful Ones is finally being released this October

Prince’s unfinished memoir The Beautiful Ones is set to be released on the 29th October, revealing the incomplete manuscript with rare photos, scrapbooks and lyrics as well as an introduction from The New Yorker’s Dan Pipenbring, who Prince chose to collaborate with.

The book was announced just weeks before Prince’s death three years ago, and finally, we will get to read it in his memory.

Prince’s highly anticipated memoir The Beautiful Ones now has a release date- the 29th October. The book features rare photos, lyrics and his unfinished manuscript.

The singer said at the time:

“This is my first (book). My brother Dan is helping me with it. He’s a good critic and that’s what I need. He’s not a ‘yes’ man at all and he’s really helping me get through this”.

Random House is publishing the posthumous memoir, and said in a statement:

“The Beautiful Ones is the deeply personal account of how Prince Rogers Nelson became the Prince we know: the real-time story of a kid absorbing the world around him and creating a persona, an artistic vision, and a life, before the hits and the fame that would come to define him”.

The book will dive deep into the American musician’s childhood, fame, discography and personal life, making it essential reading for Prince fans around the world.
