Melbourne funk redeemers Lake Minnetonka are turning all the right heads in all the right places. Since they got together in 2013 they’ve garnered the attention some jazz and funk giants, as well as local hype out the kazoo.
After a monster writing and recording session in Minneapolis, aka the Mecca for soul artists, the band are ready to launch the third cut from their time abroad: Out There Bout There.

Launching Out There Bout There at The Curtin in Melbourne on the 27th of October, Lake Minnetonka will be joined on the night by local jazz luminaries Fulton Street and Neon City Pilot.
In 2015 band leader Adam Rudegeair jetted to Minneapolis to mull some recordings over with Prince instrumentalists Doctor Fink, Eric Leeds and Sonny T. Out There Bout There is the third track to come from Rudegiar’s American pilgrimage following mid-2016 releases Clipnosis and August. Expect to hear every one of these tasty slices at The Curtin.
