Pussy Riot’s Nadya Tolokonnikova has announced a new book titled Read & Riot, set for release this October.

Founding member of Russian feminist-punk collective Pussy Riot, Nadya Tolokonnikova, has announced a new book Read & Riot, which will feature an afterword from Kim Gordon.
“Her spontaneous, explosive approach to political action has involved jumping over barbed wire, kissing police officers, giving guerilla performances in crowded subway cars, and going on a hunger strike to protest the abuse of prisoners,” Harper Collins say.
According to its table of contents, the new book also features afterwords written by Kim Gordon and Olivia Wilde.
“I’m not sure if it’s good or bad, but at least it’s honest,” Tolokonnikova says of the book.
This comes after four members of Pussy Riot were arrested for rushing the field of the 2018 World Cup Final ins Moscow. The group have since released three new tracks.
