Raindrop swing by Enmore Audio for a woozy live performance of Only Hope

As of late, we’ve been opening our doors to some of our favourite Aussie bands, and inviting them in to play a live studio version of one of their tracks.

So far we’ve had SOOK, Suncscreen, Angie McMahon, and a whole lot of others. Next up is the incredible Raindrop.

Sydney’s masters of lo-fi psych, Raindrop, stopped by Enmore Audio for a live performance of their dreamy single Only Hope.

We first fell in love with the lo-fi, alternative-psych goodness of Raindrop when they scored 3rd place in our inaugural Needle In The Hay vinyl competition.

To celebrate the beginning of the NITH comp, we threw an epic party… and it was at that party that Raindrop debuted the delightful song you’re about to hear, Only Hope.

The four-piece have been killing it for years now, and honestly it ain’t hard to see why. Every time I hear their lush sounds, my hips immediately begin to sway.

It’s sort of about… when everything is gone, when you feel most alone… having something or someone can give you some sort of hope. It’s probably the most positive song I’ve written,” Miles Devine says of the track.
