Following the announcement that The Cure will be playing four nights at the Sydney Opera House as part of VIVID 2019, Rüfüs Du Sol have been confirmed as the second act playing the renowned festival.
Each year during winter, VIVID takes over Sydney with world-class live music appearances, skyscraper-high light and art installations and a wealth of workshops, talks, and other events. It’s a year highlight for the city’s entertainment sector, and just keeps getting bigger with each instalment.
Prepare yourselves, Rüfüs Du Sol are the second artists announced for VIVID 2019 in Sydney. The renowned electronic trio play Carriageworks on June 13th and 14th.
Given their last album tour didn’t contain a stop in Sydney, this is just the treat local fans have been asking for. As part of VIVID 2019, Rüfüs Du Sol will play two nights at the Carriageworks warehouse on June 13th and 14th – right at the tail end of the festival, which winds up on June 15.
It’s a VIVID show so it’s far to expect big things. Carriageworks, despite mainly being utilised for art events, is one of the best sounding large rooms in Sydney for dance music. And no doubt, a light show for the ages will accompany this band’s set.
