American rap duo Run The Jewels have dropped a new album Meow The Jewels, a collaborative project that saw various artists remix the duo’s album RTJ2 using cat sounds.
The project started as a joke pre-order package for RTJ2, which then quickly gained support to warrant a Kickstarter campaign. Upon achieving the $45 100 target, El-P got to work on the album. Just Blaze, Portishead’s Geoff Barrow, Blood Diamonds, Boots, Zola Jesus, the Alchemist, Massive Attack’s 3D all contributed remixes the Meow The Jewels.

The album will be released on limited edition vinyl, with profits going to charities that support victims of police brutality.
