Texas gentleman Shakey Graves is arriving down under for a series of Bluesfest sideshows

Get your cowboys hats and bring your whips – Texan gentleman Shakey Graves is arriving in Australia next April for a series of Bluesfest sideshows.

Shakey Graves (real name Alejando Rose-Garcia) will be bringing his colourful, loud and energetic indie folk-rock to Australia next year, a tour which will see him play exciting new material but also revamping songs from his busking days.

Shakey Graves is bringing his bombastic, energetic and awe-inspiring indie folk-rock to Australian stages next year for a series of Bluesfest sideshows.

Don’t miss your chance to watch a powerhouse performance from an immensely talented musician and songwriter. Embracing various musical styles, Shakey Graves’ live performances are electrifying and energetic.

Strong rhythms and powerful vocals will demand your attention from the get-go, as the musician traverses through material from his new album Can’t Wake Up backed up by a full band, as well as solo songs with naught but him and his guitar illuminated under the spotlight.

“Shakey’s grasp of dynamics and his ability to mix up the styles of his songs proves his musicianship at rock star status,” according to Scott J. Herman’s review from Thank Folk For That.

Shakey Graves is that rare artist you will end up loving more after you see him live – don’t miss him while he’s here in April next year.
