SouthScope deliver the goods once again with What Went Wrong

When Sydney sibling outfit SouthScope dropped their Hindsight EP in August last year, out attention was immediately turned in their direction.

The band belt out a captivating brand of indie-rock music that’ll you be unable to resist falling in love with. Since the release of that EP twelve months ago, the three-piece have continued to develop their sound into something pretty special.

If you weren’t already on the SouthScope bandwagon, their incredible new single What Went Wrong should be all the persuading you need.

On their most recent single What Went Wrong, SouthScope breeze through warm, 90’s alt-rock style instrumentation and addictive vocal hooks to deliver a track that’ll stick in your body for weeks.

As the song’s final quarter builds into a catharsis of epic indie-rock noise, you’ll have been completely captivated by the band’s incredible music.

On the track’s accompanying video, Leon, Ruby and Tyrone Stevens stomp through a live performance of the track in a local footy field, while a golf-loving gentlemen impresses some near-by picnickers with his driving abilities.

What Went Wrong is the band’s first offering since the release of Hindsight… and we’re hoping we won’t have to wait much longer for more – hopefully this new tune is just a taste of what’s to come.

If you want to hear What Went Wrong live, make sure you head along to SouthScope’s single launch at The Record Crate on September 21st. More info here.
