With only a month to go, Splendour in the Grass has unveiled it’s 2019 edition of their notable Arts and Crafts Program. There will be a whole range of workshops and art to look at in awe when you’re taking a break from all the live music on offer.
Titled The Rock Rock, the tribute is brought by Cool Shit. the same team behind previous installations such as the Happy Kanye and Snoop Dogg Hot Doggs. So it’s sure to be epic.
The Splendour Arts Program has released this year’s line-up of workshops and installations, featuring a 32-ft sculpture of Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson. Of course.
Additionally, other highlights on display at this year’s festival will be an interactive art installation titled Hiromi Hotel: Brain Flower created by Japanese artist Hiromi Tango and a selfie experiment called Face Off curated by Laith Mcgregor.
Craft workshops will be returning once again, where there will be a range of classes lead by Patience Hodgson from The Grates in DIY scrunchies and decorated sunglasses. Delve deep into other classes to come away with your own tote bag, t-shirt, essential oils, and loads more.
On top of all of this, there will also be a daily free teahouse in the craft tent as well as the 2019 rendition of Craft Mania’s We’re All Going To Die, the famous conversation cards in a phone-free space that encourages strangers to start up conversations with each other.
